The MUSEartspace transformation begins ... sorta

Well even though MUSEartspace isn't opening till June 24th, and even though we won't start renos till June 1st, we have started the transformational process.

On a whim I asked Natasha Kudishkina if she would want to paint me a muse mural while in town.
I didn't realize she was en route to Charlottetown already. And so when I got a message back from Natasha agreeing to do it I was thrilled.

A chance meeting right in front of the future site of MUSEartspace would seal the deal and we made plans for her to come to my house the next day.

Within a day Natasha created the MUSE!!!!! Isn't she gorgeous! What a fantastic way for this journey to begin.

MUSEkids summer camps

MUSEartspace will be putting on MUSEkids summer camps - a whole summer of week long day camps for boys and girls ages 8 to 12. Activities include photography, film making, animation, painting, drawing, storytelling, song writing, Yoga and much much more. Anyone who books their child in before June 1 is going to get $10 off of EVERY week they book. Each camper will get an organic cotton t-shirt, a journal and the Yoga daycampers will even get a yoga mat.

Renee Laprise, owner of MUSEartspace, is programming and running the summer camps. Renee has a certificate for children's yoga instruction from Club Yoga of Ottawa and has also been in the film and television industry for over 15 years as the owner of Mugisha Enterprises Inc. Kelly Clements-Gennis of Think.Feel.Be. (www.thinkfeelbe.com) will show the kids how healthy eating can be creative. And to top it off, all the way in from Scotland, master storyteller Michael Williams (www.rjmwilliams.co.uk) will be on hand to teach and perform for the kids!!! There's a lot happening at these camps so TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW! Class size is small to make sure each camper has a truly magical summer experience. And make sure to book BEFORE JUNE 1st to get the $10 per week savings. For more information and a MUSEkids camp pamphlet please go to www.museartspace.com.
